Celebrate your family on National Siblings Day with Friends of the Orphans! We transform the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children through our network of homes and outreach programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our support enables them to become a part of a loving, extended family, where they are not eligible for adoption, but rather remain with their siblings in a permanent, secure environment.

"Care to Share"
Make a difference by participating in one of the following sharing activities before attending the event:

SHARE TIME
Everyone who attends the “Care to Share” event will receive a “High-Five for Haiti” hand, on which children will be asked to write a personal, encouraging message to a Haitian orphan affected by the earthquake. Friends of the Orphans will send the completed hands directly to our orphanage and pediatric hospital in Haiti. After the event, participants will receive an e-mail photo of all the Haitian children surrounded by their “helping hands.”

SHARE TALENT
Show us what Siblings Day means to you! Express yourself creatively (through song, dance, art, poetry, etc.) and enter for a chance to win a Grand Prize! Contestants must bring their “talent” to the event for review by a team of judges. Must be present to win.

SHARE TREASURE
Give your allowance, organize a fundraiser or make a donation to help orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children in need. You can donate anytime online at or at the National Siblings Day event!
