Pictured in 2009, this building in Petionville, Haiti, was originally a hotel. It served as the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos/Nos Petits Frères et Soeurs (NPH/NPFS, Spanish and French for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”) St. Damien Hospital from 1989 until a new, larger facility opened in 2006. It then became the Father Wasson Center, housing NPFS’s administrative offices, as well as volunteers and a school and physical therapy for children with disabilities.
