Events

Each of the Friends of the Orphans regional offices organizes local events that vary from galas to fun runs.  In addition, supporters can also host special events to benefit Friends of the Orphans. Event proceeds benefit Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), Spanish for Our Little Brothers and Sisters, homes for orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children.

The Northwest Mahler Festival presents a benefit concert for Haiti relief. It will feature a chorus of combined Seattle choirs and the Northwest Mahler orchestra, and George Shangrow will conduct the Brahms Requiem.

Tour the schools and other facilities and learn about NPH's unique programs. Spend time with the boys and girls whose lives you help to transform with your support. Discover first-hand the effects that love, caring and acceptance have on children who once struggled to survive. Your life may never be the same.

Tours usually include side-trips to cultural sites. Prices and features vary. For more information, click on the trip.

NPH El SalvadorOpened in 1999, NPH El Salvador is home to 471 children. Near the border of Guatemala in Texistepeque, it is about 30 miles to San Salvador, the capital.

Chapel at El SalvadorOpened in 1954, NPH Mexico cares for more than 800 children. The main home, Casa San Salvador, was once a sugar plantation and is 27 miles southwest of Cuernavaca and 77 miles south of Mexico City.
