Events

Each of the Friends of the Orphans regional offices organizes local events that vary from galas to fun runs.  In addition, supporters can also host special events to benefit Friends of the Orphans. Event proceeds benefit Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), Spanish for Our Little Brothers and Sisters, homes for orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children.

If you enjoy traveling and want to see how your support of Friends of the Orphans changes lives, we encourage you to visit a Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), Spanish for Our Little Brothers and Sisters, home with us. Tour the schools and other facilities and learn about NPH's unique programs. Spend time with the boys and girls whose lives you help to transform with your support. Discover first-hand the effects that love, caring and acceptance have on children who once struggled to survive. Your life may never be the same.

Haiti: November 11 - 15, 2009
Children at St. Damien HospitalAlso known as Nos Petit Frères et Soeurs (NPFS), NPH Haiti opened in 1987. It has two distinct facilities: St. Hélène, a permanent home for more than 500 children, and St. Damien Hospital, which provides long-term care for critically ill children as well as outpatient services.

Chapel at El SalvadorOpened in 1954, NPH Mexico cares for more than 800 children. The main home, Casa San Salvador, was once a sugar plantation and is 27 miles southwest of Cuernavaca and 77 miles south of Mexico City.
