Although we have been Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"), "padrinos" for several years, we never imagined that we would have the opportunity to meet our godchild from El Salvador. But last May, Boris came to Minnesota with the NPH El Salvador Estudiantina and dancers, and we were able to meet him and spend a brief time getting to know him. Boris was one of the youngest dancers and surely one of the smallest, but he had the biggest smile of them all. Every time he saw our faces out in the audience, his smile grew. We felt like proud parents watching him perform, flawlessly of course! Meeting Boris has reaffirmed our commitment to sponsorship and the wonderful work done by NPH.
