Volunteering Locally

Volunteers are essential to the success of Friends of the Orphans. They make it possible for us to support the orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children at the homes of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”). People who volunteer are students, retirees and everyone in between. They serve on our Board of Directors, work in our office and at special events. Some have scholarship or community service commitments to meet. Others just want to donate their time and share their skills.

Our six regional offices in the United States welcome whatever help you would like to provide. Volunteer schedules are flexible and you may work as much or as little as you want. Opportunities may vary by office. Our office locations are:

Northwest: Bellevue, WA
Southwest: Scottsdale, AZ
Upper Midwest: St. Paul, MN
National/Midwest: Chicago, IL
Mid-Atlantic/Northeast: Quincy, MA
Southeast: Miami, FL

Please note that we support the NPH homes and their outreach programs, which are located in Latin America and the Caribbean, through fundraising and volunteer efforts. We do not work directly with children in our offices.

If you want to volunteer, please complete our online application or contact your regional office to find out how you can help.
