Circle of Friends
Dedicated donors may play a larger role in the missions of both Friends of the Orphans and NPH by annually donating $5,000 or more and/or providing for Friends of the Orphans in a will or other planned gift. The support of the Circle of Friends makes a significant impact on the lives of children.

eBay
Friends of the Orphans is now an approved non-profit for the eBay Giving Works Program. Sell items on eBay and donate 10 – 100% of the purchase to Friends. You can also bid on items that will benefit Friends. The program is managed by MissionFish.org including providing the seller with a tax receipt and depositing the funds into Friends' bank account.

FUNdraisers
Organize and host an event to raise awareness of Friends of the Orphans and funds for the children of NPH. Examples include garage sales, car washes, pancake breakfasts and cocktail parties. You can also launch a giving campaign without an event.

Gifts In-Kind
Prizes and auction items such as gift certificates and merchandise, and provisions such as food and drink, are always needed for special events. In addition, medical and school supplies as well as clothing, shoes and house wares are periodically collected for shipment to the NPH homes. The regional offices also accept in-kind gifts such as office supplies and equipment for administrative purposes.

Haiti Initiative
The poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti is plagued by both political instability and natural disasters. Most people are unemployed and survive on less than $2 a day. The Haiti Initiative supports the only free pediatric hospital in the country, and numerous outreach programs.

Matching Gifts
Many companies match employee donations to nonprofit organizations that their employees support. Some companies even double or triple employee contributions. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program. If they do not, encourage them to participate.

Beautiful and colorful cards feature artwork by famous Latin American Artists as well as pequeños - children from the NPH homes. Christmas, Latin culture and general cards are available. Special Events
All six of the regional offices have special events throughout the year to raise awareness of Friends of the Orphans as well as funds for the NPH homes. Events include bowling tournaments, 5K runs, and formal galas. Sponsors and volunteers are always needed.

Trips to the NPH Homes
Spending time with the pequeños and touring the school and other facilities is the best way to learn about NPH’s unique programs. Friends of the Orphans organizes trips to the NPH homes on a regular basis, making arrangements for accommodations, ground transportation and activities. Prices and features vary.
