Orono High School Spanish Club raises $3500 for Friends of the Orphans!!!
Students Alie Slagle and Taylor Anderson – Beaver wanted to change lives of children at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos and have fun! What did they do? They planned a lock in for fellow students at Orono High School and had a BLAST! In the process, they raised $3500 for the children of NPH!!!
A special thanks to the teacher supervisor, Robbie Smalling, Burrito Loco in Dinkytown and D’Vinci’s in Watertown for donating food for the event.

Phil Grisez
Phil Grisez, Padrino (Godfather) of two and frequent visitor to the NPH homes, was recently featured in the Spring 2011 edition of The Magazine of Mariette College, his alma mater. (Check out the story on the last page of the e-magazine!) His college alumni office contacted him about his recent trips to NPH Honduras, and Phil was excited to share his story and represent NPH well. He travels to el Rancho Santa Fe at NPH Honduras again this summer and cannot wait to visit his godchildren, Wendy and Cinthia.
